The debut recording of his project Brass Ecstasy, Spirit Moves features Dave Douglas paying homage to the brass instrument with an ensemble that includes trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba and drums. Performing eight original compositions and arrangements of classics by Otis Redding, Hank Williams and Rufus Wainwright, the music captures the essence of brass music in the 21st Century.
